Out Now: Greg Lisher Solo Album "Songs From The Imperial Garden" 

Greg Lisher third solo record Songs From The Imperial Garden see's him exploring his skills as a composer with an acoustically tinged instrumental outing. Greg Lisher plays guitar, mandolin and keyboards on sixteen tracks ranging in style from rock to bluegrass, classical to folk and Celtic to Ambient. Produced by Monks of Doom band-mate David Immergluck (Counting Crows, John Hiatt) and featuring a group of eclectic musicians including Michael Jerome (Richard Thompson, Better Than Ezera) on drums, Jon Flaugher on upright bass, Tim Weed and Michael Star on violin and Eric Rigler on assorted wind instruments. In addition to producing, David Immergluck plays bass, pedal steel, lap steel, glockenspiel, mandolin, keyboards and guitar. The record takes many sonic twists and turns through various different genres from across the the globe.
